Individual Creative Clinical Supervision
Melanie Jones, our trainee creative clinical supervisor has completed the post-qualifying certificate in Clinical Supervision. Melanie can offer individual creative clinical supervision in person at our premises in Maisemore.
She offers:
- A regular, safe confidential space to reflect upon and process your clients work
- She will support you to develop an understanding and skills within the work.
- Help you to relate theory to practice.
- Enable you to apply your approach appropriately to children at different developmental stages.
- Offer the opportunity to think and develop ideas.
- Opportunities to be validated both as a person and a therapist.
- Support you to plan and utilise your personal and professional resources
- Give you constructive positive and critical feedback.
- Offer a space to reflect and clarify what is evoked by the work and explore our reactions to this experience.
- A range of explorative approaches to experiential work including (but not limited to) processing through; sand tray, clay, painting and drawing.
- Melanie is a qualified therapist through PTUK.
- Melanie offer's individual supervision to trainee play therapists, qualified play therapists, teachers, SENDCos, teaching partners and head teachers.
Available to supervise therapists from nearby areas Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Group Creative Clinical Supervision
Melanie can offer, group creative clinical supervision. This is can be facilitated at our venue Precious Hands as well as as outreach in Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.
Melanie will plan and facilitate a group session for up to 2 hours to support practitioners to process, reflect and develop their understanding of their clients, staff or pupils process.
Group sessions will be led through creative arts, allowing each member to explore through a range of mediums to support their processing.
We offer group supervision with play therapists, trainee play therapists, teachers, SENDCo's, teaching partners and Headteachers.
